Introduction and History
ShriRam College of Engineering & Management (SRCEM) was established in 1998 by "Dayal Seva Evam Shiksha Samiti, Morena". Since inception SRCEM is endeavoring for the quality and excellence in technical education. Within a short span of time, SRCEM has earned reputation not only in the Gwalior-Chambal region but also in the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. In true sense, it has become a synonym of excellence in the field of technical education which is evident from the fact that a large number of students are securing high merit positions in the State University (RGPV) examination every year.
SRCEM is now known for its high standards and unmatched facilities for the inculcation of quest for the technical learning. The institute has come up as one of the leading college of Engineering & Management, vibrant with the intellectual energy and commitment of its faculty members.
The college recognizes the necessity of enriching the resourcefulness of the young mind as an essential component of creativity in any field. Spread over 50 acres of land on the National Expressway, popularly known as AB Road, the college has its own fully developed campus, situated at Banmore, just at a small distance of 12 kms from Gwalior City. The location of the college provides a serene environment just a few kms away from hustle and bustle from the fast developing Gwalior city.
Majestic college building, constructed with attractive look, covers an area of approximately
27,000 sq. mtrs. The building, well recognized as one of the finest in the region, is surrounded by lush green environment which is very congenial for learning and studies. Institute has spacious and properly ventilated 25 class / tutorial rooms, two drawing halls, common rooms for boys and girls and a huge library, rich in books and
international technical journals, 41 laboratories, well equipped with modern equipments of
state of art technology are the core of teaching-learning process. Workshop of the college is one of its own type in separate building with a carpet area of 1400 sq. mtrs
and contains all the basic and necessary tools and equipments required for imparting practical training/experiments to the engineering students.

About Department
Mechanical Engineering Department is one of the oldest & biggest department of
the Institute established in the year of 1998. The Department is committed to
well being and all round development of students. It offers B. Tech. in
Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech. in “Thermal System & Design”. It has
qualified faculty members, state of art laboratories and infrastructure.
Continuing Education programs and customized training/ workshops are being
organized for UG students, PG Scholar & industry personnel on regular basis.
Establishment of ANSYS Mechanical & CFD Laboratory, CNC Machine Centre and Wind
Tunnel Laboratory are major important milestones achieved by the department.
Students of the department are actively involved in various extracurricular
activities and extension activities. Students of the department participated in
an Ultra Golf Kart Championship and won remarkable prizes, Students were
participated in a national level event ATV-2017 organized by Auto sport
competition at Nasik in the month of February, 2018 and
also
participated in ATVC- 2K18 organized by
Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, Rajasthan.

About CSE Department
Department of CSE was established in
1998 with under graduate program intake of 120 students and M.Tech with Computer
Science and Engineering stream with intake of 36 students. Highly well qualified
and experienced faculty members who strive to impart knowledge on academics and
soft skills ass by the industry.
The department laboratories are
configured with latest technologies imparting utilities or practical knowledge.
Apart from academics projects the college also encourages students to undertake
live projects in advanced areas. The department also has with well-ventilated
e-class where the faculty delivers the lecture in pleasant and GUI model.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
Program
The Department has the best
undergraduate program required for the IT industry. The course curriculum for
the undergraduate program gives the flexibility to the students to prepare for
advanced specializations. The department commits to offer a set of electives so
that students can plan their academic program in advance. The course structure
provides a right mix of compulsory and elective courses.
Curriculum
The B.Tech Program is divided into
two distinct parts. A student has to go through a common program called Core
Curriculum. Most of the core curriculum is completed in the first four
semesters. The last four semesters have a large number of professional courses,
that initiates the student to topics in Computer Science & Engineering. The Core
Curriculum consists of a package of compulsory courses in Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics, Engineering Sciences and Technical Arts.
The Professional Curriculum consists of courses and Project Work. There are some
compulsory courses, but there is a significant number of professional electives
as well.
Dept. Activities:
“To train up the students to increase
their managerial skills on par with Industry. Conducting IT games to bring up
the creative thoughts and conducting classes to improve their personality”.
Computer Lab:
The computer center is located in the
ground floor circular building with centralized A/c and it is equipped with
computers systems with latest configuration and 02 servers. Internet facility
(leased line) is provided to all the students. Each student is provided with an
independent workstation.
Master of Technology (M.Tech) Program
The Department has the best
postgraduate program required for the IT industry. The course curriculum for the
postgraduate program gives the flexibility to the students to prepare for
advanced specializations. The department commits to offer a set of electives so
that students can plan their academic program in advance. The course structure
provides a right mix of compulsory and elective courses.

The M.Tech Program is divided into

Computer Science & Engineering offering 2 Year M.Tech Course in CSE from

About Department
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at SRCEM Banmore was established in 1998. It offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in VLSI & Digital Communication.
The programmes offered by the department have special emphasis on Digital Communication, VLSI, Embedded system and Microwave Engineering.
The laboratories of the department are well equipped with the state of art instruments and equipments. Various laboratories of the department include Basic Electronics Lab, Analog Electronics Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Networks Lab, Electronics Instrumentation Lab, Antenna and Microwave Lab, Electronics Workshop Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, Optical communication Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Computer Centre and Departmental Library.
The department has well established computing facilities with internet and wi-fi connectivity.
Department has its innovation & quality procedures such as improvement in teaching methodology using projector, learning material development including book writing, chapter writing, laboratory experiments & journals.
Academic working environment of the department is cohesive and congenial, having good interaction between students, faculty & staff. Department has very good interaction with the nearby R&D institutions and local industries.
Many alumni of the department have pursued M. Tech. and Ph.D. studies in various IITs and abroad after securing high percentile in GATE & GRE, serving in renowned Engineering and Administrative services.
